Turkey trip log Day 7

This was a slow and relaxing start of the day. We woke up moored at Sailors Paradise to goat sounds and rooster’s calls.
After a nice swim we relaxed on deck.
As the breakfast was being prepared and I was enjoying a peaceful read, a man onshore began to play a turkish flute and sing. It was unbelievably peaceful and authentic experience.

We sailed out around 2 pm. The seas were calm and the wind steady at 10-12 knots. We sailed, tacking back and fourth, maintaining 5-7 knots for 3 hours. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. Cool wine, happy and great friend and my love by my side … Perfect time.

We sailed into Similiye in the early evening and moored by Aurora Resturant. I shared my grilled sea bass with a nice feline representative of Silimiye community.

We were blessed with a gorgeous full moon.
