I am a huge fan of Cesar Milan and his realistic and effective approach to dogs.
I believe, he is one of the very few popular dog trainers who propagate an appropriate attitude to dogs and owner/dog relationship. Many trainers reinforce the faulty attitude of people who believe that dogs are like little children or little furry humans. It leads to people imposing human feelings, mentality and attitude onto their K9 companions. The result is neurotic and uncontrolled dogs, frustrated and unhappy dog owners, dog bites, and shelters full of ruined and miserable dogs.
